Terms and Conditions

By placing an order for goods you confirm your agreement to our Terms and Conditions as set out below. All other terms and conditions, express or implied by statute or otherwise, are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect the statutory rights of any consumer.

Payment & Prices

Prices and special offers are correct at the time of offer but are liable to change without prior notice. Prices exclude VAT and exclude carriage (where applicable).

We reserve the right to alter any prices and specifications without prior notice. Full payment required with order by cheque, bankers draft or debit/credit cards. Returned, unpaid cheques will incur a charge of £25.00.

Payment is due in full before dispatch of goods. If for any reason payment is not made or cleared, we retain the title to the goods until paid for (cleared funds) in full. Any additional costs in recovering the property will be charged to the buyer.

Dimensions

All sizes are approximate but given as accurately as possible. We do not recommend that any fitting work is carried out prior to the delivery of goods when reliant on sizes.

Delivery

Delivery charges vary according to location and goods. We will notify you of this at the time of order. Some items may be delivered free of charge. Please be aware that delivery to some parts of the UK will incur an extra charge. We will contact you with further details when your order has been placed. We can accept no responsibility for transport delays causing late deliveries. We can accept no responsibility for consequences of delay in receipt of goods. Non-delivery of an order must be advised within seven days of the invoice date.

No deliveries can be guaranteed, although every effort will be made to carry out the delivery on the stated day. Access details are required at the time of order, indicating any parking restrictions etc.

Due to driver insurance clauses, deliveries will only be made to ground floor level. From there on it becomes the customer's responsibility. Help maybe required for large or heavy items. Some items maybe delivered on a pallet. The driver is only obliged to unload the pallet from the lorry, so may not take the goods inside the premises. If you are at all concerned about this, please contact us.

Inspection of Goods

Goods must be inspected at time of delivery and all claims for shortages or damages must be made by the buyer to us within 24 hours of receipt of the goods and confirmed via e-mail within 24 hours. You may be asked to provide photographs of any damages. We accept no responsibility if damages or shortages are not reported within this time period.

Guarantee

All items are guaranteed according to the manufacturer's warranty. All glass and mirrors are excluded from this guarantee. No manufacture can guarantee fabric against staining, please take care when using colour or other chemicals near to upholstered goods.

All goods are supplied for their intended purpose only. No responsibility will be accepted for damages caused by their use otherwise, or in any other country other than the United Kingdom.

Colours shown on the website or in sales literature are a guide only. We cannot be held responsible for colour imperfections.

Alterations to orders

An alteration to an order which is received after dispatch cannot be accepted.

Cancellations & Returns

Cancellations and returns must be approved by us. Some items cannot be cancelled as they are specially made to order. Cancellation of goods after dispatch cannot be accepted.

Approved cancellations will incur a charge of 20% of the goods. Returns must be made by the customer and packed in original packaging or sufficient to ensure the safe carriage of the goods. If a credit or refund has been agreed, this will not take affect until the goods have been returned and checked and are in resaleable condition.

Goods that have been refused by the buyer when delivery has been attempted will be subject to a handling charge of the carriage costs plus 25% in addition to any other remedies open to us.

If goods are to be returned, a returns authorisation must be obtained via e-mail. Goods must be returned within seven days of receipt unused, in perfect condition and in original packaging. Carriage of replacement items may be at buyer's cost. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept return of items that have been used except if the goods are faulty. Goods returned which have been damaged due to poor packaging by the buyer will not be credited in full. Your Statutory Rights are not affected.

Electrical

Electrical goods should be installed by a qualified person.

Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts.
